NOBODY'S CHILD - ROMANIAN ANGEL APPEAL - VARIOUS ARTISTS (1990)

O repertório do álbum desta postagem contém uma seleção de artistas de minha preferência e sempre atuam proativamente em atividades de filantropia. Me refiro ao disco "Nobody's Child - Romanian Angel Appeal", lançado em 1990, pela gravadora Warner e no Brasil, pela gravadora BMG Ariola. 

Esse disco foi lançado para beneficiar órfãos romenos, sob os auspícios da Romanian Abngel Appeal Foundation. Os artistas doaram faixas em apoio a causa. Incluem artistas como o Traveling Wilburys, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Duane Eddy, Van Morrison, Guns N' Roses, ringo Starr, Rick Ocasek e Elton John.

Todas as músicas eram inéditas e Nobody's child (apoiado em "This Week") e With little help from my friends foram lançados como singles EP. 

O projeto foi organizado por Olivia Harrison, que criou a Romanian angel Appeal Foundation, com a outras esposas dos Beatles (Barbara Bach, Yoko Ono e Linda McCartney), em abril de 1990.
